This Cookie Policy explains how IlmMaps ("we," "us," and "our") uses cookies and similar browser storage when you visit https://ilmmaps.com ("the Website"). We keep this deliberately small. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party analytics that follow you around the web, and there is no cookie consent banner because everything we store is either strictly necessary or set only by your own choices.

What we store

• Sign-in cookie (essential). When you log in, we set a single secure, HTTP-only session cookie so the site knows you are signed in and can serve your paid maps. Without it you cannot stay logged in. It is a first-party cookie and is not used for advertising or profiling.
• Local storage on your device. We use your browser's local storage to remember your account session and your light or dark theme preference so the site loads the way you left it. This data stays in your browser.
• Referral attribution. If you arrive through a referral or affiliate link, we briefly store that referral code in your browser's session storage so the person who referred you is credited if you subscribe. It is cleared when you close the tab.

What we do not use

We do not serve targeted advertising, we do not use Flash cookies or web beacons for marketing, and we do not sell your browsing data. There is no Cookie Preference Center because there are no optional advertising or tracking cookies to turn off.

Controlling cookies
